The two very different C3 models come in a choice of 2.4” or 2’6” screen which full QWERTY keyboard for quick chat on the linked social networks, which include both Facebook and Twitter. Both versions come with a respectable 2-megapixel camera and the larger of the two includes FM radio.

Nokia has preinstalled One Direction collectables including wallpapers, stickers and video interviews with the boys themselves.

Discovered on the X factor by Simon Cowell, the boy-band has reportedly received a £2 million signing fee with the music mogul’s label.

Sony’s PlayStation Vista marks the next generation of the PlayStation and looks set to winner over a whole new generation of gamers.

The PS Vita packs a 5-inch multi-touch organic light emitting diode (OLED) screen with a multi-touch pad on the rear, supplementing the old school analogue sticks on the front.

Pricing for the PS Vita has been set lower than some expected, starting at £150 for the Wi-Fi model, with a 3G-enabled version setting you back around £230.

At these prices, Sony seem to be trying to elbow into some of the space currently occupied by the Nintendo 3DS, and Sony were keen to emphasise its benefits, declaring that it was aiming to, “transform every aspect of user’s daily life into an entertainment experience.”

As far as Social Networking is concerned, a service called Near is incorporated that will allow users to connect with other nearby Vita owners to compare trophies and socialise – much like Nintendo’s 3DS StreetPass concept.

Also included in Vita is Party Room, a chat system which lets owners converse with other gamers via a headset. The system lets chums chew the fat when they’re playing different games or using different applications like surfing the Web.

With front- and rear-facing cameras onboard, there’s much potential for augmented reality gaming.

It is currently a legal requirement for children under 12 (or below 135cm in height) to sit in a booster seat. However, it can be a bit of a problem to take booster seats on holiday and the seats provided by rental companies can be pretty shoddy. Step forward the BoostApak Backpack Booster Seat.

BoostApak is the ideal solution; a spacious, hand-luggage approved back pack which doubles as a booster seat–ideal for family holidays, public transport and the school run. Whether travelling by car, taxi or bus you’ll never be a booster seat short again.
Ergonomically designed to protect growing spines and encourage better posture, this ingenious bag/seat hybrid features adjustable padded straps, a durable plastic shell and removable covers for easy cleaning.

Each year millions of pieces of luggage are lost worldwide. Once lost, attempting to get bags back tends to be the stuff of nightmares too. Well now you can be sure to locate your bag when the airline can’t.

At the airline luggage desk, baggage handlers place a paper tag on your luggage when you check in at the airport, but it is only designed to match your suitcase to your flight details. Trace Me tags are durable and provide the owners of bags and cases with the most secure means available of identifying their ownership by linking your luggage to details on a secure server that will notify you by text to your mobile phone and email when your missing bags turn up in the lost luggage section of any airport.

No matter where your bag lands, the local handling official or police can scan your barcode, or read your registration number, and your name and details will pop up on the property ownership register at www.immobilise.com. You will then receive a text and email enabling you to tell the airline exactly where your bag is!
The Micro Luggage Scooter comes in a conventional hard shell case with cabin-size-dimensions which can also be used as a means of transport, thanks to the running board, handlebars and wheels. The modular structure makes it ideal for use as a carrier bag, trolley and last but not least, as a kickboard.

The bags contain a built in weighting scale that allows you to see the weight of your luggage (in pounds or kilos), at the pull of the handle by simply lifting the case by its own handle. The weight is displayed on a LCD screen positioned near the suitcase handle.

These luggage are especially useful for your return trip, when you might have over-indulged in holiday shopping! Simply press the button, pick up the case and check the weight accurately displayed in lbs or kg on the mini LCD screen.

Microsoft has revealed their new Xbox 360 Wireless Speed Wheel which is a three-fourths wheel that will ship alongside the new Forza Motorsport 4 game when it launches later this year.

It would appear that the Microsoft’s employees responsible for product naming are not car owners, given that they call this cordless gaming accessory a “wheel”. For racing fans who own an Xbox 360, however, the arrival of the device is good news, as there aren’t many driving controllers for the Microsoft console on the market.

The Xbox 360 Wireless Speed Wheel is equipped with all the standard controls including buttons, d-pad, and triggers. Together with haptic feedback complete with rumbles and LED illumination on the handles.
The new Xbox 360 Wireless Speed Wheel is compatible with all racing games out of the box. But just to be aware that the small print reveals there will be “limited functionality in some games”.

The Sony PSP Go is a fourth generation portable handheld gaming and multimedia handled device. The PSP Go marks a radical shift for Sony’s portable games console. It is now more compact than ever with slide-out-controls to save space and more importantly it is now completely digital. A first for a dedicated handheld gaming device.

The PSP Go is smaller and lighter than previous PSPs. The 3.8-inch LCD, while half an inch smaller than previous PSPs, retains the 480 x 272 resolution of old, meaning a crisper looking screen thanks to the increased pixel density.

The only addition in terms of hardware is the inclusion of Bluetooth 3.0. This allows you to pair up with Bluetooth stereo headphones, tether to a laptop or cell phone for Internet access, and even pair with a PlayStation 3 controller (Sixaxis or DualShock 3) and play your PSP games with a “real” controller.

The mechanism that slides the screen up to reveal the controls is quite sturdy. The controls themselves have been changed significantly, with the directional pad and face buttons sporting a much clickier feel.

One area that hasn’t seen any change in all three revisions of the PSP is the Wi-Fi. The brand-new PSP Go uses the nine-year-old 802.11b standard, and it’s incapable of dealing with WPA2 encryption, which is the only totally secure Wi-Fi protocol around.

Gone is the mini-USB port, meaning not only will you need a proprietary cable to charge your PSP Go, but none of the existing PSP accessories like the camera or GPS will work without the purchase of a adapter. Also gone is the replaceable battery, meaning that with a maximum of six hours battery life, you will have to plan your long distance travel times a bit more carefully.

On the software front there is one attractive feature that stand out for us, and that is the ability to pause a game. You can hit the to listen to music or watch a movie and then resume your game without actually having to use the in-game save functionality – which is a reasonably useful addition, as some developers haven’t quite grasped the concept that people playing their games on the move might not always be able to play for another ten minutes to reach the next save point.

As for games, the maximum UMD can hold is 1.8GB, so you’ll fit at least eight games on the internal storage of the PSP Go – but you’re likely to fit a few more on there than that, with the content-heavy Gran Turismo weighing in at just over 1GB.
